Tempestra

A small visual improvement mod for Lightning that completely changes how the bolt is formed and how it looks. The goal of this mod is to make thunderstorms much more intense and realistic.

Lightning

The lightning changes from being a simple, thick bolt in vanilla to being thin and arcing, with custom glow and impact effects.

The lightning bolts can also split into two and contact the ground at two separate points.

Lightning also instakills, unless it comes from channeling, in which it will deal vanilla damage and not cause fire like usual.

Storms

Thunder Storms are given two new modes. A normal storm is just called a thunderstorm, and then on top of that.

There is Medium Thunder storms, which have a 1.5x frequency of lightning, and Heavy Thunder storm with a 2.0x frequency of lightning.

Suggestions

I heavily recommend playing with other mods like Particle Rain, which heavily improves rain and makes it look nicer, along with adding nice fog effects both during and after rain.

Also, you should include ImmersiveThunder. It makes the thunder rumble in the distance while a storm is happening, and you can hear both the distance, and the delay of Lightning strikes just like in real life.
